Terry Head

Terry Head holds a Bachelor of Music Honours Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Western Ontario, where his principal teachers were Cornelis Rodert for performance, John-Paul Bracey for chamber music, and Jane Hayes for accompanying.
He has also completed post-graduate work at the Royal Conservatory of Music in the Artist-Teacher Diploma Program in the Glenn Gould Professional School , where his principal studies in performance were with James Anagnason, and pedagogy studies were with Marina Geringas, Lynda Metelysky and Andrew Markow.
Terry holds an A.R.C.T. (Performance), and an A.R.C.T. (Teacher's). He currently maintains an active teaching studio, is Director of Music at St. Andrew's United Church in Peterborough, and regularly accompanies senior level instrumental and voice students for examinations and recitals.
Currently Terry is working on a Master of Sacred Music degree through the University of Toronto, and Emmanuel College. Studies in organ performance with Dr. Patricia Wright, and other musical courses in conducting, world music, and sacred music make up part of the requirements for this program.
