Natasha Regehr
B.A., B.Ed., A.R.C.T.

Natasha Regehr received her B.A. in General Studies from Trinity Western
University, with a Concentration in Music and Minors in both Education and
English. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Education from the University
of Toronto, and completed her Teacher's A.R.C.T. in Piano under the
direction of Dr. Janet Lopinski, former Chief Examiner of Theoretical
Subjects for the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Ms. Regehr has over twelve years of experience as a music teacher in
private and public elementary schools, and is currently teaching
instrumental music at Rhema Christian School in Peterborough, Ontario. In
addition, she has maintained a busy piano studio for many years, with
students of many levels achieving excellent results in R.C.M. exams and in
their further studies.
Ms. Regehr is active in the community as a member of the Peterborough
Singers and as a church musician; she has directed several instrumental and
vocal ensembles for children and adults, and is the former Artistic
Director of the Brampton Festival Youth Choir. She has composed and
arranged many works, including several choral pieces and a major cantata.
When she is not in her studio, Ms. Regehr enjoys writing, gardening and
painting. She continues to participate in conferences, courses and local
arts events, and is currently completing an M.A. in English Literature
(Public Texts) through Trent University.
